I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE and I love being a part of this community. As a young man, I attended Union College, but ended up taking a break my senior year to reflect on my major prior to graduation. While paying my way through school, I worked for my dad at Gotfredsons Auto Dealership where I would sell and detail cars. One day I sold a car to a man who sold life insurance and he noticed certain qualities in me that I had not yet realized about myself. I never expected the words of advice and wisdom he gave me that day to change my life the way it did, but it led me to discovering my passion for protecting the lives and dreams of the people all around me. The next day, I called up my own American Family Agent and he helped me become an agent and who I am today. Connecting with people, learning about them, finding a way to lift them up, and to be a trusted advisor has given my life passion and purpose. I am very proud of my agency and I have the greatest staff I could imagine. Everyone on our team is motivated by a similar quality to support and serve. We look forward to coming to work every day, and do just that.

I love being outdoors and particularly enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, and boating down the Missouri River with my son! As a family we love driving to National Parks and usually do a lot of hiking while we are there. So far, we have been to Yellowstone, Moab, Canyon Land, and Arches National Parks. I am a family man. I have been married to my incredible Wife, DeAnn, for 42 years and counting! We have 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren who we see very frequently. Our family has strong bonds, including our extended family.
